Connecting finance requirements to implementation

Problem. The Anaplan implementation needed clear FP&A requirements and a shared understanding of warehouse-to-platform data flows.

My contribution. I worked with Bedford Consulting to translate the requirements into technical specifications and map integration dependencies.

Result. Business requirements were connected to implementation specifications and the data flows needed to support them.

Standardising an end-to-end reporting workflow

Problem. Multi-entity reporting relied on fragmented processes and differently structured outputs.

My contribution. I standardised downstream reporting inputs and built a SQL/Python/Streamlit workflow for executive reporting.

Result. Consistent inputs supported an automated reporting workflow for senior stakeholders. An accounting restructure also accelerated the upstream close; my contribution was downstream standardisation and automation.

Bringing forecasts into cross-team planning

Problem. Emerging demand patterns needed to be understood across teams with different operational priorities.

My contribution. I developed a rolling 28-day forecast using historical booking curves and live bookings, and chaired the weekly forum across Pricing, Operations, Fleet and FP&A.

Result. The forecast and forum supported a shared discussion of demand patterns and coordinated planning decisions.

Predicting Falcon 9 landing success.

I used APIs and web scraping to collect launch data, then classification models to investigate landing success in the final graded project.

Working with historical launch data was an exercise in prediction: a model’s output needs to be interpreted alongside the evidence and limitations behind it.

The project strengthened my understanding of how data is collected, how models are evaluated and where their outputs need to be treated cautiously.
